Filter Cleaning Service

Cleaning filters can be time consuming and messy.  But IT IS NECESSARY in maintaining water chemistry and equipment efficiency.  We offer our customers this hassle free service, whether it's DE or Cartridge Filter.   Let us do the dirty work by cleaning for you.   We recommend this service twice a year for optimal results. 

• Healthier and easier to balance pool water - We typically remove 10-20 lbs of dirt and grime from the filter.  That dirt and grime will no longer be a part  of the pool circulatory system.  This will also lessen algae outbreaks.
• Lower electric bill - After a dirty filter has been cleaned, the average pressure drop will be 5-10psi.  This means increased filter flow, which lowers the amp draw of your pool filter motor.  
• Prolonged filter life - A clogged filter will put stress on the grids and pleats.  Over time this will cause damage and holes to form in the filter.  Less stress on the filter grids or pleats means fewer repairs or replacements.  
• Prolonged filter pump motor - A clogged filter will put stress on your pump motor.  Having a clean filter means the pump motor can do its job more efficiently. 

• A complete disassembly of filter housing, removing all grids and internal parts.
• Full cleaning of filter housing, grids and internal parts.
• Lubricate the backwash valve.
• Reinstall grids and internal parts and reseal filter housing.
• Recharge the filter with D.E.
• Test for proper pressure and filtration.
